No more half solutions.

Who We Are
We are a youth-led organization accountable to our communities and committed to supporting black and brown people to build our power.
The expression “NoCap” is a culturally relevant way to say no lies; and our way of saying no more half-solutions. We organize Black and Brown students and communities, especially surrounding Historically Black College University campuses (HBCUs). Our work, is our voice. Through each campaign, we proudly say NO CAP. Whether canceling student, police and prison reform, or voting rights, it’s NO CAP for us.
WhAt We Do
We build our base year-round through racial and economic justice campaigns and civic engagement, targeting communities around Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs).
HBCU’s are typically located in the heart of predominately black communities, which gives us the opportunity to tailor our programming to black and brown students and young people in our communities.
We believe we can change the face of civic engagement and advance new visions for justice, through community.
Partner universities include North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University (NC A&T); North Carolina Central University (NCCU); Winston-Salem State University; Shaw University; St. Augustine’s College; Johnson C. Smith University; University of North Carolina; UNC Asheville; UNC Wilmington; UNC Charlotte; UNC Pembroke; Duke University; North Carolina State University; and Appalachian State University.
